    City of Zagreb Day

    Traditionally, the city of Zagreb Day  will be celebrated with a procession with candlelight and bearing the statue of Mother of God from the Cathedral , starting from Kaptol, through Bakačeva, Ban Josip Jelačić square then Mesnička, St. Marko square to the Stone Gate. You will be able to watch live stream of the part of the procession that will go to Ban Jelačić Square via our webcams.

    The celebration program starts at the Zagreb Fountains when the visitors are expecting a concert by Miroslav Škoro and the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra at 9 pm. On the occasion of the Day of War Veterans of the City of Zagreb and the City of Zagreb Day , on May 31st, at the fountains will play 1,000 tamburica players who come for this occasion from all over Croatia, the Ivan Goran Kovačić Academy Choir and the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra.
