Prizna is a place and port on the shores of the Velebit channel, between Jablanac and Karlobag along the Adriatic highway. There is a ferry port for the island of Pag where Jadrolinija's ferry runs (line 355 Prizna-Žigljen) which can accommodate 60 vehicles and 300 passengers. In the summer months, ferries run non-stop. The ride takes about 15 minutes.
The ferry port of Žigljen on the island of Pag was reconstructed in 2013, which enabled the docking of ferries in difficult weather conditions, as well as the simultaneous docking of three ferries in the port of Žigljen, which reduced crowd in the port. Due to the strong wind “bura” , the problem is not only the navigation from Prizna, but also the docking in Žigljen, which is now much safer and greatly reduces the number of days when the ferry line Prizna - Žigljen is interrupted due to the strong wind “bura”. This means a lot for the residents and the economy not only of the City of Novalja but of the entire island of Pag.
