Just as Zagreb has the Zagreb Advent Run, so Zadar has its own race - the Zadar Christmas Run.
Zadar Christmas Run is a sports event organized as part of Advent in Zadar. In its first edition in 2019, it generated huge interest and 600 runners registered for the race. The Zadar Christmas Run is a 5km sports Christmas race which will start on 27th December at 3.30pm from Puntamika (marina Borik) with finish in the city center on Advent.
One of the key reasons why the Zadar Christmas Run is so well received is its humanitarian nature, as you donate €1 for every kilometer you run. Your participation is not only a sporting one, but also a very concrete gesture of support for those who need it most.
This event is known for its merry participants in the craziest Christmas costumes – elf ears, lights, reindeer antlers and red caps.
The main cause of Zadar Christmas Run is to popularize Christmas activities in the city of Zadar, also to promote sport, recreational runningand a healthy lifestyle. It will be one fun sports - Christmas day in Zadar!
