    Zadar Night Run is a popular road, night race through the city streets in the heart of the city and the first night half marathon in Dalmatia. Zadar Night Run is a race of a unique 3 in 1 format because you can choose what suits you best: 2 laps (5km), 4 laps (10km) or a half marathon (21km).

    The half-marathon starts at 8:30 p.m., and is run along a beautiful path from Foša, across Bulevar, along the sea to Puntamika, and back around Poluotok and Muraj. The flat path by the sea is ideal for personal records. The music scene and night lighting create an atmosphere that is rarely seen in races of this type.

    The Grawe Zadar Night Run 5 and 10 km races start in front of the Land Gate at 9:00 p.m. and are run along a well-known and attractive route around the city (2 or 4 laps). The race route passes through the very historic center of Zadar.

    More than 1000 runners from 22 countries will take part in the Grawe Zadar Night Run. The message of Zadar Night Run is healthy living, recreation and staying outdoors.

    Zadar Night Run is one of the most attractive road races in the region and recognized as a top event not to be missed. 

    Run 21,097 meters along a beautiful path towards the western part of the city. It is a path that connects the past and the present, the sea and the starry sky.

    In 1928, Zadar got its first bridge. It had a pavement and pedestrian sidewalk on both sides, and its opening enabled boat traffic with bay of Jazina. The bombing of the city destroyed a bridge in 1944, and in its place in 1949 a provisional pontoon bridge was built on tin gas bottles. This bridge was a little bit unsafe, especially during strong wind. And finally, in 1962, with the great folk celebration, a bridge that you see here today was built.
